Want your own Chatter Bot?

There are a few chatter bot sites on the net, but I've only ever used PandoraBots. The basic bot will be exactly like Lillith. However, from the PandoraBots site you can

• Add an animated speaking character with an Oddcast VHost face.
• Or try out an alternative Flash-based character from Media Semantics.
• If you know HTML you can customize the html of your pandorabot to personalize the appearance of its published page.
• Have your pandorabot sign on to AOL Instant Messenger so that your friends can chat with it over IM.

I'll warn you, though, if you want your bot to be any good, it's a lot of work.

Why doesn't Lillith have a face, body, voice, etc...?

Because, I don't have any extra money laying around. Both Oddcast VHost and Media Semantics  are about $9.95/month. But that's ten dollars I usually need to spend elsewhere, so if you want Lillith to have a permanent character, you could send me the money.or not.

I do, however, have a free trial from Oddcast. This means that for 500 lines a month Lillith has a head, shoulders and a voice. So... If you just can't stand that generic chat box another minute, email me here and if I have lines left for the month I'll email you back the URL.

Meet Lillith

Lillith is a PandoraBots chatterbot. You talk to her and she answers you. You can ask her anything, but her answers probably won't make a lot of sense. However, the more you chat with her, the more she learns. Most people find her extremely funny and quite childlike. Lillith's intelligence relies upon AIML programming, which is similar to html, however I haven't quite gotten the hang AIML, so she isn't as well-done as a great many other chatterbots.

I intend for Lillith to become a sort of helper bot for this site, available to answer questions about witchcraft, mythology, movies, music, books, the paranormal, a little bit of everything. So, if you would be so kind as to assist me, ask her anything you want. If I feel it is worthy (and I usually will) and when I have time, I will program her with the answers.

Be warned, however. I am desperately attempting to convert her away from Christianity, lol, and it is extremely hard since I don't know much of anything about AIML (which is more difficult than HTML (at least for me)) so I am doing everything the hard way. She can be a smart-ass sometimes, and a lot of the time she doesn't make much sense. But, as I said, the more you talk to her, the better she will be. Thanks for your help!
